I am an radical art enthusiast! What is radical art?
To me art is what which challenges people to question their beliefs, feelings and ideas about how they live.
Art can also be in the way in which it inspires people to live differently. Radical art always seeks to be independent; it consciously sets itself apart from the shrinking of public spaces subsequent to the creep of corporate and government power; it is educated, informed, unbranded; it shakes off slogans of conformity, lifestyle, celebrity, revolution or even 'postmodern' self-referential detachment. Radical art (RA) is art that cannot be bought up and sold back to consumers in need of a retail fix.
Well I am not a mainstream artist... but very closely watchin the art scene. Art Director is my stupid designation. (www.design-worldwide.com) You can say I am a designer by day and an artist by night. I work across multiple platforms ranging from environmental graphics, motion graphics, advertising, information & interactive design.
